Mad,

I wish you were here right beside me right now. Sighs. You know, I could just sit right next to you for a whole day without saying a thing and not feel uncomfortable with the silence. Maybe it's because we both have a need for wordless moments. Sometimes, I have this bad habit of just leaving things as they are and just walking away. I know you've been telling me it's a form of escapism, but it's just my way of dealing with things. The alternative is definitely less pleasant, and if you have to know, I'd most likely explode and regret it later if I don't choose to walk away.

If I said that even though I wasn't used to stuff like sunset prayer, but I liked it enough to want to go for the second session, is the offer of the one-day-of-services still valid? Heehee. (: I'd claim it when I haven't cleaned my room in weeks and the floor's super dusty and my sheets need changing. Hohoho.

By the way, I finally thought of the word that describes me: reflective.

Hello everyone! I'm finally back to blog after a while of MIA-ing. (: Well, I can't help it, SWOC just drains the life out of you, especially at night, not to mention RAG. =l

Anyhows, here's the update : yours truly is in RAG DANCE (: My one minute of fame.

Okay. Fifty-eight seconds.

Did flag day on Tuesday, it was really an eye-opening experience. I made a general observation, albeit one that isn't all that nice. It seems that affluence makes people blind to the needs of others instead of being aware, makes them self-centered instead of selfless. On the contrary, it was those that were not as well off that really gave. There was this old lady dressed in rags and she looked like she hadn't bathed in a while. Unlike those that I approached for donations, she stepped forward, tapped me on the shoulder and put the coin in her hand into the tin can in my hand. Irony isn't it? The poor giving to the poor. The rich, they seem air-headed. Me thinks they really are.

Are you rich in the Spirit?

Anyway mad is back! Finally. (: Thank you for that email. Uhhh, I didn't read it before you left. In fact I only had time to check my mail yesterday. Haha! (: So no worries there, I'm learning to adjust to hall life, slowly opening up. Well, we're alike in that aspect aye?

Have a good day everyone. As for me, it's back to dance practice. =l

-arm aches.-

Thank you Chien Huah for the pleasant surprise today. (: And I thought you'd be staying in m'sia tonight. Our hammies sure missed you, even if it was just for the day. Thanks for bookmark #2 as well, though you bluffed me that it was for an exco member. (: Fancy you writing me a card using MY PEN in MY ROOM. Haha! Love our hammies, can't wait for this sat's concert, hopefully we can both go support Zerline yeah (: And PL of course (: Yes, I'll try to remember my keys and to keep our hammies safe. (: DID YOU KNOW that I have to pay 5 bucks everytime I lock myself out of my room? YES =l

Well, I know I'm put in this block for a reason, and though I haven't found that reason yet, I sure am thankful I'm in my block and not another block. (: Thank God for Chien Huah and Kwok. And for Freak 'n' Twit. They were my source of comfort today. ((((:

Persevere.

Went for BSF, today's message was IN MY FACE. Chien Huah came over and we were talking about some of the pointers raised today, some rather controversial points. Wonder what conclusion we can draw from this. Oh wells.

Oh yes CH, do you write all those mini poems yourself? Cos they're lovely. (: And they just keep getting nicer. And where did you get that postcard from? Like it. (:

And I realised that neither your name nor mine is found on that card.

Our God is for a lifetime,
Till we see Him sometime,
Though life may be akin to a roller coaster,
To Him we edge closer.

Mad/Mag/? what are you up to? Changing nicks all the time. Hahaha. Anyhows thanks for listening to my rants. Well, what I need is a listening ear, but I cherish your opinions more, cos I think you give good advice. (: Love your tags btw. (:

Today we went to get hamsters. HAMSTERS! (: For now, they're named Freak and Twit. (: Chienhuah's idea to get the noisy male, but I have to agree, Twit (the noisy one) is super handsome. (:

My whole block thinks I'm together with Chienhuah. Hahahaha! Oh man. So we decided, we're cousins. And when I told my block people that, they were like.. sure anot. I know I'm not that good at acting, but I tried my best to convince them. Hahaha! They bought my story. (: Am I good or what (:

Anyhows, Jeannie's (another d-blocker) keeping hamsters too so phew. I'm not the only one. (: And she's a touch rugger! How cool is that! (: So exciting man. Yay yay yay (:

@1:16 AM

I've finally moved into hall! (: Guess I'm alright with it. Mad came down to clean my room for me and we spent the day uhh, kinda just slacking and talking and all. I must say I am surprised at Mad's cleaning capabilities. (: My room is squeaky clean now, thanks to the two of us. Hahaha.

Haven't gotten down to blogging since I've moved in cos I was so tired yesterday and today was matric fair and all, was hardly in my room. Went over to Mad's room, and haha! We got to play fooseball! Was pretty fun, and his friends are all so funny (:

I don't think I'll be able to join choir, considering I have BSF on Thursday nights. That means I'll be missing almost half of their practices. Sighs. I thought I could learn more about singing with more of Kwei's tutelage, but I guess God comes first.

In everything, my God reigns, number one. (:

That's probably my guiding principal in life I guess. They say that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything. It's a pity how Sheares Hall doesn't have a hall chair for cg. Hope that Mad's frequent (i hope) visits to Sheares can help him build a relationship with Ming Han. (: Well, God's my priority, at least for this year.

Lord, I haven't forgotten. You rule my life. No guys this year.

Going to get hamsters tomorrow with Mad. Haha! Going to keep them in his room. Mmm. Anyone giving up hamsters for adoption? (:
