i realised that God has a great sense of humour, unlike the lameness of my BSF lecturer and DG leader. ((:

A thought just popped into my head on the train on the way back: People are never satisfied with what they have.

It was just a random thought, one that was sparked off by the conversation between seeleng and shucks-i-forgot-my-brother's-friend's-name. and then just shortly after i was looking at my arm and saying to myself: eeks i got a fat arm. and then i look up and i see a lady who's arm is at least 2.5 times mine.

"what are you complaining about? i made you perfect."

"yes God, it's just that i think i could be you know.. a bit slimmer, a bit prettier?"

"OH. are you saying that you're sub-standard? that thought earlier was from me. and you still had that self-belittling thought right after that."

and then it struck me. oh yes! God speaks to us all the time, but we really don't realise it. and this really made me want to be even more sensitive to God's voice.

am at law school now studying with joseph and his friends, and i take a look around at all the gorgeous babes. okay even if they weren't naturally beautiful, they've made it up with their fantastic dress sense. i think no one in law dresses as lok kok as me. it's quite a wonder how he never went out with them. okay one, but that was so long ago.

sometimes i really wonder if i'm going to live almost the exact same life as ivy. if i were, i'd be darn happy. (: cos she's got a loving husband, and that's all a girl needs, really. rich or poor, handsome or not, it's all secondary. well, of course it's nice to have a rich and handsome boyfriend don't you think? (:

everyday i'm so thankful to God for letting me have this time with Joe.

Am totally unmotivated and lazy now, and i blame it on the weather.

Had a good talk with joe last night, and now i'm more than convinced that i can actually see myself 50 years down the road with him. not that we don't get irritated with each other, just that we don't fight. we talk it out. we talk with each other a lot. i guess that's our (open) secret to a quarrel-free relationship thus far.

it's been 3 good months. a quarter of a year. another 19 quarters at least till the next step. (:

I now know why people in the entertainment industry (usually) lead such crappy lives:
They are able to mask their true feelings to the world such that
no one truly understands them anymore.

i'm so excited! WE'RE FINALLY GOING TO HAVE A CHILDREN'S WORSHIP BAND, A CHILDREN'S CHURCH! (:
