Gary was right. God indeed does place interesting thoughts in our minds when we least expect it.

Was on the bus just now on my way to lecture when i decided to take out "My Time With God" and read the bible a bit. Nothing much, just interesting reading, nothing radical, nothing that makes you jump out of your seat and want to shout "AMEN!". But as i was saying short prayer while walking to the LT, i was talking to God and saying, Lord, thank You for loving me, and i love You too because you first loved me.

And then it hit me.

Why is it that we only do things (that please others) BECAUSE someone else did something (nice) first?

What if we did things.. just because. What if we just WANTED to do it. If we just seeked to please God and fulfill the purpose of our lives?

and it was interesting that the point on Agape love was brought up at last night's combined prayer.

AGAPE LOVE: unconditional FAITH-FILLED love.
